Dr. Hassell grew up in Dallas and Austin, Texas. He attended the University of Texas, obtaining both bachelor’s and master’s degrees, and went on to earn his dental degree at the UT Dental School in San Antonio, Texas. During dental school, Dr. Hassell met his wife Karen. They have two children, Eric and Anna, and now have three grandchildren.

His practice, while having a strong focus on esthetics and the use of dental implants for tooth replacement, also treats young children and has many retired patients as well.

Dr. Hassell is a member of the International College of Dentists and a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, and is currently preparing for his Master’s in the Academy. His desire to help others and serve the underserved has motivated him to do missionary work every year in Central America. He is a lifetime member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
